E 'Tilo, the Mistress of Spices. His story begins in a remote Indian village where the pirates kidnap, attracted by its arcane and mysterious powers to bring on an island haunted and beautiful. There Tilo learns the magic of spices that will allow America to help those who, like her, has left India behind. In the workshop of the Sorceress, therefore, parade lives and desires, hopes and hardships of immigrants, and spices, with their thousand tiny eyes peering every gesture of their lord.
