THE DISGUISE OF VOLATILE

Fred Tomaselli brings together, assembled so obsessed kaleidoscopic landscapes, figures, birds, eyes, lips, leaves (true), plants, pills, religious iconography with references to art history and famous personal references. His studio is an archive of various materials, including specimens of vegetation (native): pods, roses and chrysanthemums still in their pots. His figures are described anatomically, organs and veins exposed as a scientific design. The motivation? It comes from the desire of reality framed by artifice. The passion for the real and the surreal, as in this case, leads him to disguise the birds (bird disguised or covered with new colors), created with the help of observation careful of the birds that eat crumbs in his backyard in order to testify, he said, the Darwinian struggle for survival.
